Mini body panels and bits

Hello forum,

The restoration of my 1990 Mayfair will be starting in the near future. I have visted the MiniMania site for parts and panels, but I want to find out if there are more vendors that sell mainly body panels.

I have I have air brought doors and subframes in from the UK for less than the US suppliers are charging.

Depending on the size of the panel(s) you need, you may wish to contact Mini Spares also. Shipping from the U.K. is expensive, but if you are ordering a high-enough dollar value of parts, the combined cost of the parts and shipping can still be less than purchasing in the U.S. AND you'll have the parts faster than buying them from California.

When considering the West Coast vendors, don't forget Seven Enterprises. Their prices have been creeping up close to those of MM, but they are still a little less expensive.

Now on to a related subject. The fit and finish of Heritage, Rover, or M-Machine panels is much better than the generic bits you will get ordering the cheapest parts. You can re-work the cheap panels but it's often a labor intensive process which justifies the more expensive, better fitting panels.

Do a Google search for "mini parts". You will get A LOT! From my reading, you should consider getting Genuine Heritage panels. Supposed to fit far better.
