Milk Rouge??

A few weeks ago one of you guys showed a pic of your engine and the carbs were positively shiny. When asked about it, you said you had simply polished them with a buffing pad and what I seem to recall as "milk rouge". I may have been too deep into the Pinot More but that is my recollection. Since I too would like shiny carbs, who wouldn't?, can somebody clarify this for me? TIA
 
Not sure about "milk rouge" but white polishing rouge and a buffing wheel will make your dashpots nice and shiny with very little work. Just don't get 'em so hot they warp - light pressure and let the wheel do the work, just like buffing paint.
 
I use Mothers Billet polish(with a wheel like Jack said)....It's more expensive than the rest, but it really works well.
