Midget seat rails

Does a 1973 Midget have the wooden 'packing strip', as found on earlier sprites and midgets, under the bottom seat rail?

Mike, I recently removed the seats from my 1974, and I believe it was the first time the seats had ever been removed, and I did not see any wooden strips anywhere.

not a definitive answer, but hopefully it helps.
