Zimmy, is the ebay bearing the same as what Ray was going to use. The ebay bearing looked like it is plastic. What do you think.

same thing,.. far as i know its the only alternative..
i think its a metal bearing in a hardened plastic
casing.....z
 
Ok now I feel dumb,
i guess the clutch thread was to close to my nose

ok I did it,
just payed for the release bearing on ebay.

picking my eng. block up Sat morning, it has been at the machine shop since January, hope to post some pics of my big bore setup this weekend.
