I need some MG op-onions. I have this 66/67 spridget metal dash striped and ready to do. I am putting it on ebay,BUT I want to refinish it my way, which is in color.Preferably red, but I realise most want it in wrinkle black. I can do the wrinkle stuff pretty well now,so thats not the issue. Give me your yay's or nay's on this.

One more question...would chroming it be to over the top. How about leather covered.

This is what real men have for dinner...

When I go tmy car - it had already been redone in fabric. I am redoing it now (with the whole car) in fabric to match the seats. Why not give the option of paint (any rustoleum color or fabric if they provide ?? Maybe a simple primer and a few pic's of 'what might be' would entice someone?

I'm with George on this one...leave it up to the new owner as to what finish they want. Besides, with most finishing you will probably not recoup what you've put into it. As to chrome...not a good idea on a sunny day...how many times do you reach up and "readjust" the mirror away from you to keep the glare out of your eyes? Now, imagine if that mirror were say 6" X 48".
