Howdy all, I am an active brit car enthusiast with a 79 MG Midget, 57 Morgan and 97 Jag- still searching for the cheap Healey! Anyway, my Midget was bought new by my Dad and was my first car. I am trying to keep it going but it will not pass CA smog due to a bad order EGR valve. Any help or suggestions? Have money and want to save the car I got my first "hug" in! Please offer parts suppliers or anyone with a parts car?????
 
I've a couple of manifolds with EGR valves on them.

If that's the thing perched on top of the manifold - I'm pretty sure I've got one - you can have it for shipping - or maybe for free if the shipping is cheap
 
I bought a couple on e-bay just in case my 79 needs one next year when it goes on the dyno(it passed just before I bought it)

One of the egr's has a bad diaphragm Not sure about the other.

Moss and VB don't have them.

I wonder why nobody makes a replacement.
