I sent in registration, when should I expect a confirmation that it was received ?

Thanks

sent mine, emailed Jim and he confirmed

Wish I could make it, will be thinking of y'all while I'm working and you're partying. Missed two great events this year (MG2011, Spridget 50). Missed LOTO as well. Stupid job.

I'll ask Jim how he is handling confirmation notices.

Are any clubs/groups driving out from NJ/PA area?

There are several people coming from that area, most of them can be found by posting a message to the spridgets@autox.team.net mailing list. If you are not a member of that list and do not want to join just send me a PM with your email address and location and I'll post a message on your behalf.

Thanks Trevor. I may have joined this group a long time and many LBCIs ago. I'll go check.

Most in the Pacific Northwest know about our caravan from the
Seatle area, but maybe some from Oregon or anywhere else along
the route would want to join up... Here is the not set in stone
but darn close itinerary.

July 15, 07:00.. leave from North Bend Washington McDonalds
heading down I-90. Arriving in Missoula Montana some
hours later where we will spend the night.

July 16, leave in the morning aiming for Gillete Wyoming.

July 17, leave Gillette heading for Kurt Appley's farm in South
Eastern South Dakota. He's offered his farm as a
gathering point for anyone who wants to gather.

July 18, Leave the farm and head to Elkhart Lake, arriving in the
evening.

We plan to drive at about 60 mph, hoping to average 50 mph,
covering 500 miles or so per day, about 10 hours of driving
time, which includes stops for fuel roughly every two hours and
a stop for lunch. If we get on the road by 08:00, we should be
off the road by 06:00 (of the time zone from which we start each
day).

At this point we have 4 cars and 6 people making the trek.

See ya'll soon in Wisconsin. We'll post relevant cell phone #'s
just in case we get lost or someone wants to contact us....

Mine is 360-261-9298.

I'll be coming up a few days early, but will be returning to the southeast immediatly after the event and would welcome a caravan south

I just mailed off my registration and the check. I guess I need to find out good directions now and make a plan. I am trying to figure out what we are supposed to do. Do we go to the track first and unload the midget there and leave the truck and trailer at the track and then drive to the hotel? If that is the case then I need to get directions to the track first. How is everyone else going to do things if they tow their spridget?

Just looking things over some more. It looks like its 3.5 miles from the hotel to the track. The track is 4 miles long so its shorter to the hotel than one lap around the track  They are racing there next weekend so it would be a good one to watch on TV and see the lay of the track.

Check out the track map on the event website. It should help you when watching the races this weekend.
See everyone there and I will be square. (arched)

I have been doing some more planning. I don't want to tow the midget through Gary, Chicago and all that and will go farther West. I am now planning on Leaving out Sunday from Asheville and drive to Bloomington, Il (550 miles or so), then Monday morning drive on to Elkhart Lake (300 miles or so) that way we can get there in plenty of time to unload the car at the track and drive to Victorian Village for the meet and greet thing. We got in late and missed that at LOTO.
I will be using the same rig as last time. The Ranger pulling the trailer with the Midget on it. 2.3 Liters of pure horsepower. I would drive the little car but the wife won't go that route. Best to have A/C and peace in the valley.
My rig from last time.
