Glad to hear that the Washington and Florida "Iron Butt" Spridgeteers made it home safely. It was great to meet you "wild and crazy guys". Maybe next time we'll do this closer to your territory. But I don't think that my Bling Spridget and my Marshmallow Butt will want to go too much more than the 1000 miles I did this time.

I'd love to make the next one. Missed the Sprite 50 with a non-running car. Really need to be ready for the next one.

Well I could put together a small get together in the Black Hill's that you west coasters motored right past last time!:joyous:

Johns Motor Service company complete with all his BMC sign's is vacant and for sale now though. Could have been a destination a few years ago.

get mine back from having the Datsun tranny rebuilt on Monday.. hoping to at least make BC for Victoria Day. ..

Missed the 50th because my back blew out, but only put about 1000 miles more on the car before the engine blew up.. I never would have made it all the way anyway! 1000 miles after that the tranny was gunny.... .. better have the next one closer to home, not 2000+ miles away.

Bill L....a thousand miles would have got you close to my place and I've got a usable engine and tran's! Hope your back is doing better...mine is giving me fits.

I'm with Kurt, I think a tour around the black hills area would make for a great trip.

Hi Rich.....the Black Hill's aren't huge but seem to attract car groups for get together's and I kinda know my way around them. You west coaster's could take in lots of other scenery as well. Got good brakes....Bear Tooth pass!! Have to avoid the Sturgis MC rally though.
