Sorry - been away from the computer.
Yep to both. It's a great setup - not only does it use the drive train and suspension, but quite a few other bits from the donor MGB(s). Very ingenious how they designed this thing.

Oh, and the battery sits in front of the heater, so there's no long battery cable to deal with.
