To any of you guys in Michigan....We always spend a week in Michigan in July (Traverse City) and I tkae about two to three days of my vacation to make cherry jam. This year we will not be able to make the trip, so I was wondering if anyone there would be willing to ship me (overnight) a case of cherries. Or get me the name of a reliable orchard I could make arrangements through. The frost got the peaches and strawberries this year here in AR and I can't stand the idea of a winter without homemade jelly. Any ideas? T:smile:
 
No Help, But OH LORD reminded me of ChokeCherry jelly my aunt made when I was a kid. ChokeCherry Jelly on HomeMade hot out of the oven buttered bread and we were in HEAVEN!

terriphill, you might want to check the pricing before ya commit, bought some here in ct. yesterday dont know where they were grown but there delish. they cost just under $3.00 per pound, a case? oh boy. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif
