To any of you guys in Michigan....We always spend a week in Michigan in July (Traverse City) and I tkae about two to three days of my vacation to make cherry jam. This year we will not be able to make the trip, so I was wondering if anyone there would be willing to ship me (overnight) a case of cherries. Or get me the name of a reliable orchard I could make arrangements through. The frost got the peaches and strawberries this year here in AR and I can't stand the idea of a winter without homemade jelly. Any ideas? T:smile:

No Help, But OH LORD reminded me of ChokeCherry jelly my aunt made when I was a kid. ChokeCherry Jelly on HomeMade hot out of the oven buttered bread and we were in HEAVEN!

Psssssssssssst ..... I`m guessing Only Nartheners Know what ChokeCherries are /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

Try googling Michigan Cherries. You'll be surprised at what you get.
