thats so sad, such a great author.

Thats really sad I used to love his stuff when I was in High School, he had a great imagination and a good head on his shoulders.

Might sound a little silly to some, but I enjoyed reading his book The Andromeda Strain, first and then seeing the film. I enjoyed the book more. Great author and nice guy. He will be missed, but not forgotten, by many.

I just read the book Sphere.... really liked it. The movie was not so good.

I loved Sphere...the Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park...other than the last one, none of the movies werre near as good. But,like Stephen King, he realized early that by creating movies from his stories, he opened a whole new market of people who would read his books. I will miss his work.

I read Jurassic Park, then saw the movie. Movie was good, but I woulden't have understood the storyline had I not read the book first. He was an excellent author. I coulden't put that book down (course, that mighta been the super glue)
