Miata Seats

A few people asked to post something after I intall the mazda miata seats. First, before you begin, do a trial fit. You will thank yourself later. To get them in, I had to cut the "small posts" near the front of the rails. I bent the front "feet" of the rails about 45 degrees due to the front "hump". I did this because it allows the slide release clearance. To install, I welded the original holes using a mig welder and drilled new ones. Then, I bolted them in using bolts and lock washers. I also used hard rubber cut at the same angle as the front feet and out them under the front feet for support. Allow yourself a full day for installation.

Note: It you're over 6 feet or tend to be very wide, these seats (or a Spridget in general) are not for you. Happy Motoring!

Nice work, let us know when you have photos up on your site.
