Miata Seat Belt Receiver Question

I've relegated myself to using my Miata M-Sport seats in my project for now but have a question regarding seat belts. I am installing 5-pt harnesses but at the Wife's request, retaining the factory shoulder belts as well. Are you guys using the TR6 Seat Belt Receivers mounted down on the floor/tunnel or are you using the ones mounted to the sides of the Miata Seats?

I have removed the receiver set-up from the Miata seats to reduce bulk and planned on using the TR6's on the floor. With this said, the Miata seats have a very "unfinished" appearance under this bracketry so I thought I'd ask those that have made the seat swap what they have done about the receivers.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

I used all new inertia selt belts that came with it's own reciever, and removed the one on the miata seats. Is it posible to use the entire miata seat belt setup?

Let's revive this crusty old post and have a gentlemens argument on which year of the MX-5's seats are the best. Which year did they come with speakers. I'm interested in that part for the *8 but not the *6. I'm having so much fun spending money on the 8 that I think I will go and get the seats too.
