I don't have details yet but the MGVR group is inviting all Elva Couriers to race with it at the VSCDA Au Grattan races August 17-19 at Grattan, Michigan.
This invitation is apparently a big deal as MGVR normally limits participation in its events to MG Marqued cars. While this includes MG "Specials" it has not in the past included separately marqued cars with MG power such as TVR, Elva, and no doubt a few others. This will probably translate into one more racing session per day than we would otherwise get, and we have the opportunity to put our higher power to weight ratio to good advantage against our heavier brethren!
I am planning on attending and will be seeing MGVR member Chris Meyer at Mosport next weekend and will probably get further information. In the meantime please pass this along to any Courier racers you may know.
