Greg - I will second PJs recommendation about the MG Enthusiasts' Club Bulletin Board. The other thing I would recommend is getting the book The COMLETE MG TD Restoration Manual by Horst Schach. It should be available from BritBooks at: https://www.britbooks.com/index.htm I got the book years after restoring our TD and found the section on installing the top and the side curtains alone worth the price of the book. One of the things he suggests (and I did) is to install gripper snaps on the rear tacking rail instead of nailing or screwing the lower part of the top to the rail - This gives you a hatch back TD, making it very easy o get the side curtains out and load luggage behind the seats.
