Zack -

That is fantastic! Can't believe you didn't get any bids. How big is it? Hard to tell from the pictures.

85 year old uncle is one heck of a modeller R6MGS. I would think any owner of this marque would be proud to own a model such as this one.---Keoke- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I just happen to have a red MG TC. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Is he really considering making more? What would he charge for a custom model to match my car as far as colors, etc?

Not to nitpick as it's obvious he did a great job, but while the majority of the model is very accurate, the radiator is all wrong!

Also, can I ask what the wheels are made of? I'm just wondering if he constructed them out of wood and if so are they a single piece or are the spoke glued into the rim and hub? I'm simply curious!

Again, great job!

Thanks for the compliments! Sorry I forgot to include the size; it is approximately 18" in length and 8" wide...Yes you are correct in thinking the scale of the rad is off(and a few other things ei.Dash humps) are not exactly to scale,he works from pictures and makes his own plans. I know the spokes are made of shaved/sanded down bamboo glued to the rim(I think) but I am not sure how he made the rim, the tire is some kind of rubber tubing...I don't see why he wouldn't take requests, he has built other cars in the past(A Model T Ford and a Packard) This TC was kinda like a prototype, now that he has the plans made he can make other TC's alot quicker(in any color) As far as price goes I am still unsure, the Ebay reserve was set quite high as we were just testing the waters to see what kind of response it got...I will talk with him and get back to you.If anyone is interested here is the Ebay link: https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...ISUAA%3AUS%3A11

Zack

BTW, I forgot to include that the radiator is the ONLY component of the car that is made of plastic, why or how? I have no idea.

To those who are interested I talked with him and he has agreed to come up with a price ASAP....2 days time at the most.

Thanks
Zack

I talked with my uncle and confirmed a price of $300 CDN if anyone is interested at that price please let me know.....as far as request go if this TC sells and someone else wants another in a specific color then that can be arranged at roughly the same price.

Thanks
Zack
