MGC MGC Latest - I have power....

MGC up-date - I have power....

Connected the battery the "correct" way and the entire electrical system was DOA. Fast forward a couple weeks to today, and I finally got time to stare at it long enough to realize the battery wiring was all goofed up.

I corrected the wiring the I've got power now - yippie. I still need to check all the systems but nice shot in the arm!

Nice, Tom. Sounds as if you will need to "proceed with caution" for a bit.

"Caution" would be the watch-word, and maybe "frustration" would be a good one as well. I had the wipers and blower working, then they went south. I'm cleaning all the connections one-by-one and I bet that will take of most it.

Hey - quick one.

With the ignition on the accessory switch I have power to the lower part of the fuse block but not the top. Should the top also have power to the fuses at that ignition switch position?

Tom,

Probably not a bad idea to keep a proper fire extinguisher
handy .... just in case.

Good idea Doug! Especially now that I got the starter working. Once Jeff works his magic with the distributor it is time to try and start her.

After the small detail of rebuilding her carbs of course.

Doug - BTW will finally get to those door skins today. Thanks for being patient with me.
