Where is Mantell Motorsport, could not find an address on the web site Pete.
 
I searched that web site from front to rear & didn't see anything about the MGC - it'll take a long time to open....just leave it alone & open another window to use while its plodding along.

Located in Sidney, Illinois.

Sidney is about 15 miles southeast of Champaign, IL...(intersections of I-74/I-57/and I-72).

About 2-1/2 hours south of Chicago; 3 hours northeast of St.Louis; 90 minutes west of Indianapolis; 3-1/2 hours northwest of Cincinatti.

I live about 2 miles north of Pete in St.Joseph, IL.

Come on out for a visit!

Hi Jack,

When my web designer came up with the site ideas in 2004, he felt that to cut down computer generated junk mail it would be better to leave off the address etc. and use the contact info boxes.

My website is due for an update soon and will include better contact info, blogs and a bunch of new pictures, info and new 302 V8 products.

I can understand the wish for less junk mail and such. But a town would be in order along with a state, hehe. I had to look up the area code.
 
I'll second the people saying that the auto MGC makes a very decent grand tourer, especially the GT.

And the manual gearbox is NOT weak and WILL take a tuned engine, as well as the added torque of the MGB V8 engine. But the T 35 BW is a reliable if dated automatic box and should also last just about for ever if given minimal maintainance.

If anyone needs a spare auto box with shifter I have one (somewhere) here.
