I've got my 69 CGT torn down and all over part of my shop trying to get it reday for British Car Days in Las Cruces NM later this month. Getting new paint, interior etc. In the middle of this, my brake booster blows on my 90 Corvette, the fuel inj. dist. on my 75s 911 goes south leaving me to either drive my rollback truck or my wifes VW bug vert(78 model) Neither the booster or fuel dist. are available locally..middle of nowhere New Mexico. So to make me feel better, I walk to the C which is on the rack totally apart, hook up the batteries and tap the key. Even after being dormant for a month it rumbles to life. Got the booster the next day and Vette is up for sale. Tore down the 911 and its driving again. My other 911 is still waiting for a carb. part. As soonas my MGs are done..the C...a 68 BGT and a 76 B roadster, I think I'll sell all the other crap. at least I can depend on the MGs.

Fabulous and very reliable cars - mine's the only thing keeping me on the road for the past 2 years. Hopefully I'll have the toyota headgasket replacement done in a few more weeks.

The Alfa, I still need to check the fuel pressure - regulator is either shot or the fuel pump.

My wife's Eagle talon is about to blow a couple CV joints any day now.

Having cars, but not enough money to put into 'em sucks.

But as soon as the toyota is going, I'm gonna fix the Talon and sell it. Then fix the Alfa. Then I've got about $500 worth of parts here sitting in boxes that need to go on the MGB.

Jack - I just got a '69 MGC GT with automatic transmission & am getting ready to tear into the brake boosters...

I'd love a 90 Corvette.....but I am way over my car limit already.....someday I'll have the room for it....Until then I am gunna enjoy this 'crap'

Man... Some people just know how to rub it in. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

I guess the grass is greener on the other side.....When had Vette's I wanted more MG's....Now that I've got too many MG's I want vette's, but whenever I decide to sell an MG I always back out just before advertising it, I tend to get attached to my LBC's.

So when do you want me to have the tranporter pull up to take care of that "too many MG's" problem?

Hehehehehe - this is getting fun. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

as soon as I am six feet under.......I assume u won't mind driving all over the city to find em` all

Nah, driving is fun - hehehehehe.... Now how to get 'em past customs... Hmmmmm, I got a cousin that may know a couple backroads.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Dude, you have three late model MGBs. Sell two of them and get one Vette! You save space, get what you want and still have a B. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The LE is 'for sale'......or at least thats what I tell the wife....I had a 73 Vette roadster 2 summers ago, but choose to sell it instead of the LE, basically because the vette needed LOTS of work....The two 78's are suppose to be motivation for my sons to do good in school.....If they graduate university they each get a 100% original low mileage 78 MGB....I almost bought a C5 convert before I found the Jag, but the Jag just suited me better(tiny back seats are good in an emergency).
I'd really like a vette one day.....but nows not the time for another permanent car, I just bought a TR6 so that will keep me busy for a bit....maybe I'll get another vette after that.
