MGC MGC GT: Worth restoring?

There was an article on one in Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car
magazine. Also a letter to the editor in the current issue concerning
resale values.

They are amazing cars and worth saving. Before my blown head gasket -- I'd better get started on fixing that -- it was one of our favorite cars to drive. Completely underrated back in the day, IMHO, because people expected it to be as nimble as an MGB. These preconceived notions caused a lot of the motoring press to pan it. It's not only a great touring car, but a great sports car. And *very* fast. It's significantly faster than our Big Healey. And you can't beat the cache it has for being very very rare.

In terms of resale value, I'm confident it will get there.

Go for it!

I guess it went to a good home then, where is should be.

Quite a collection this guy has.

Who has 4 Metropolitans? Neat.
