MGC MGC-GT on E-Bay

The yellow, manual trans, MGC-GT on e-bay which ended yesterday with a no-sale, reserve not met ( 161505400401 )....has been offered to me under the "second chance" program @ $18,000. The offer was e-mailed to me about 15 minutes after the auction ended, which seems to indicate the seller knew the high bidder was a fake. The car is offered by Aventura Fine Cars of Miami, Fl, at $28,000 on their web site, and looks to be in super condition in the e-bay ad.
Does anyone know the car or the dealer?
Opinions and snap-judgements regarding what I should do are welcome.

I assume this is the primrose yellow one?

I'm not well calibrated on prices, but it strikes me as fair. It's a lovely car, in any case.

I love the way the sellers sling out buzzwords without any idea of what they are supposed to mean: "This car is a clean, unmolested and unmodified sample...It has been meticulously restored a couple years ago..." This seems about as self-contradictory as any statement could be.

There is a blue MGC GT locally for sale. Have know of the car for 30+ years, same owner. Recently refreshed for $25k, I beleive it can be bought at a lower price. PM me if interested.

The blue MGC GT was on Craigslist for a long time and it looked good.
