Both forums are good; just good for different reasons. I hang out here mainly for the Triumph stuff.

Sorry to hear that you are getting razed Tony; people should chill and take a pill.

Well we're certainly glad to have you. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable during your visit, however brief, just let us know.

Cheers to all,

Look at all the low post counts! Welcome my lost brethren, welcome! I agree with all that has been said. Both sites are great, but different. I love that on this site the off topic area is seperate from the car talk area. I can still read all the posts, but it's far easier to keep track of. And for the most part it keeps car threads on track so that when you search the archives, you don't have to flip through five pages of hooters talk (not that it's a bad thing mind you!) to find the part number for a fuel filter.

Well, with 3000 posts on skye's site & almost that amount here, I'm glad for the activity on this site

...remind me to tell ya'll about the engine I'm building for a local guy (over the phone) sometime...driving me crazy! I'm having him come over tomorrow so I can show him how to install rings - ordered the correct ones & he told me they were wrong - I believed him & ordered another pair...dropped off the new set, brought the old ones to my garage & installed on piston.....pi$$ed wouldn't describe!!! But, he's learning....

Janel, the way those hooters stick out, they get caught up in everything - time to think about removing the additions & going back to the original set.....hehehehehehe

I sent skye a note to see what's up, but I think his email is one the same servers as the forum.

But yes! I see many people on both forums! Each has it's on flavor.

Yeah, it goes in waves. Busy one day, nothing the next. It took years for the other boards to get so busy.

To say I don't mind would be a huge understatement. Been running this place for five years now with the single-minded goal of making it the best free forum I possibly can, but without folks using it it would just be another empty hole in cyber-space.

Cheers and welcome to all the newbies. Now that you've found your way here, I hope you won't be strangers, even if this isn't your primary hangout,
