MGB MGB Wiper Blades

I am home today cuz of exams so I thought I'd repaint the wiper arms for my B. I got them off the car but I can't get to plastic blade part off the metal arm. There is no markings on it either. The blades do need to be replaced but are still good for a another car so I'd like to get them off without breaking them! How are these suppose to come off??

Also were can I get new blades??......I am assuming Moss has them but it seams a waste to pay shipping from California for a few wiper blades

Thanks
Zack

I am not sure if you have O'Reilly's auto parts there, but I picked up some Anco brand (31-10) blades for $5.49 each and they work perfect.

No, no O'Reilly's here but there are some similar stores around here that I'll check...Canadian Tire...I just looked at the Moss catalogue and they want $13.00 US a blade!

Also pepboys should carry them

If you are looking for the Bosch blade, they are the 10 inch blade and run about $9.99 each

I use the tex blade which I believe was original equipment. I got mine from Proper MG, but most of the part houses carry them. I try not to use them that much anyway!

The blades I took off say made in Canada but nothing else...so I am guessing there a cheap Canadian tire or Pepboys brand. The Bosh blade sounds good, i should be able to get those here...Not that I plan on using these much I just couldn't stand looking at the old ones.

Thanks
Zack

Yeah I think we've got a Napa...thanks I'll try there first!

Back in the "Day"..I would buy three regular refills and cut
them to fit...can afford real ones now..but cut ones work great..plastic easiest to use.
