MGB MGB Troubles

I had a similar problem with my 70 B. The throw out bearing had pushed its way through the pressure plate and was lying in the bottom of the bell housing. While I had the trans and engine out, I also replaced the third gear synchronizer ring. That had been an annoying problem since I bought the car in 73. I can't believe I drove it that way for 40,000 miles. Good Luck!

I agree with Bob about the flexible hose. Same principle on brakes. Do cheap stuff first. Also....I bled mine 4 times the standard way and it didn't work until I did the backwards bleed thing. I used pump style oil can but mity vac or other pressure bleeder should do it. 5 minutes, no air, done. THEN look at other stuff.
