Question, is the spire nut used on the rear of the starter armature on a MGB the same as used on some TR6 starters, specifically the 2M100 Lucas starter. The armature end shaft is 7/16 inch in diameter?

Hey guys, there must be someone here who has this type of starter on, or from a B.

The part I am looking for is the spire nut (contained in the bag marked 52). The kit is no longer available, but the spire nut is. Now I know the part is only $3.50, but by the time I add other parts (which I don't really need) to meet the minimum, then add shipping, and I am up to $40. Not a lot of money I know, but I just do not want to hear from the other half if the nut does not fit. :eeek: Been there, done that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
