MGB MGB rims fit on a Midget?

Will MGB rims fit on a Midget? I know the Midget has 13" rims vs MGB with 14". Will there be that much of a clearance issue? If so is there away around it? Also the bolt patterns are different, but will it still work? Found a nice set of rims, but would like to know if they fit first.

Thanx
Dave

Bolt pattern is different, so that kills it right there.

Also, the squared rear fenders of Midget have very little room (except the rare, radiused "RWA" versions), so bigger diameter is a problem too.

And backspacing of MGB wheels may cause tires to rub (there's *very* little room on the inner side due to the leaf springs).

A nice "big" wheel on a street Midget is 5.5" X 13" (with proper backspacing).

Thanx!! Saves me some money. Any suggestions on where I might look to get a nice style rim? Nothing against the stock rims, but not quite my style.

I purchased Superlites from Hap. He's a member here and on the MGE. They are like Minilites/Panasport. Very affordable and real lookers too.

How much were they? Thet'll fit on a Midget?

Dave

LOL, if you order them for a Midget they will fit on a Midget.

Picture he had up wasn't of a Midget. That's why I asked. Are they expensive?

I don't recall off hand but I'm a cheapskate and I purchased them so they couldn't be that bad. I think there was a post somewhere about members buying a "lot" and savings would be spread out for all parties involved. NOt sure where it is though.

Also we can custom CNC drill a set of 14" rims to work on the square arch Midget, same pricing as the normal 14" MGB wheels, we've done already on the "Modern Midget" project featured in Classis Motorsports magazine. Give me a call if you're interested, all my information is in my website listed below.
