Saw this ad at the MG Experience website, thought I would alert you all to it in case anyone is interested - I do not know and have no affilation with the seller.

MGB Engine & Overdrive tranmisson. Can hear run. 58,000 on the clock. Central NC location.
Will seperate. $1250 for both or $700 each.

Parting out rest of car. Wire wheels ect.

The seller-jim is a real good guy. Not out to rip anyone a new one. BUT I can do one better. $500 for a O/D out of a 68-74 MGB.

How much to get it to Chicago or better yet, Minneapolis??
 
Lets see. 1335 miles each way @ 30 MPG = 89 gallons @ $3.75/ gallon =$335 plus hotel stops @ $125/stop and food
Ballpark =$800.00

Peter, If you are really interested I will check into it. I purchased this from a estate. The fellow purchased it as a working O/D off Ebay. I have no other history on it. It is from a 68-71 since the factory overspray on it is red not black. Bob
