Okay, who was driving the Carmine Red chrome bumper MGB up the interstate near the airport in Kansas City this afternoon? Whoever kept up with my rental car - 70 to 75mph!

You didn't buy another and forget that you were bringing it home, did you Tony? The tow chains didn't tip you off? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

How long you in KC? I know of several MG owners there, the Camblins (friends of John & Carol Mangles) If you're there awhile and want to look up some other MGr's, go to https://www.kcmgcc.com ((Club Social every second Tuesday 7:00 pm, Birdies Pub & Grill 8889 W 75th St Overland Park, KS))

I'm in KC for 2 weeks...just placed 4 orders with Moss for drop shipment directly to homes of purchasers

Playing with Army during the day.

Is there any ~mud~ involved?!?!

No mud, Doc - sorry....but lots of computer simulations.

BAH! Army's gone all ~soft~... mehheh /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I've played "America's Army" and it's a pretty good game... I gotta get the PS2 version soon.

Always set up your air cover first, second and third.

Lots more serious than that, Kenny

& Doc, putting a division commander & his staff in the field with all their soldiers & equipment is cost prohibitive...but with a serious, high level simulation tied to their war plan, the commander & his staff can train on controlling the battlefied for mus=ch less - & not have soldiers sitting around.

Wait, wait I thought that's what we did, sit around, interspered with bits of pure terror.

I know it is Tony.

Actually, I think it's pretty durned slick. All the contingencies planned, none of the resources wasted. Neat.

Read an article a few years back that talked about the Miata.

According to the article a student at one of the fine Ca. schools decided to design a car for a project. If I remember right the individual was 3rd generation Japanese-American. He stated that he had always liked the MG and used it as a starting point. After modernizing the B he tried to get the interest of the Big 3. There he was told that the day of the American made 2 seater sports car, other than the vette was gone.

Through old country family ties he pitched it to the Japanese companies and was successful.

So does that make the Miata the younger cousin of the B?

possibly but the original Miata has hardcore styling cues from the Lotus Elan that can not be denied when you park them side by side... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Tony, I should drive down and say, Hi I'm goign t down there soon forthe next Yankees game.

Coming through STL on the way back?

Flying, Janel...

Can't...resist... must...

Gotta: Don't yer arms get tired, Tony???

only when the other ducks are behind & are drafting off me, Doc....hehehehehe
