I,m in the same position as Mickey Richaud,s post.......Just installed a newly rebuilt engine in Dad's 74 1/2 MGB GT and of course try to fire it up and nothing....Didn,t feel like playing anymore so retreated to a cold one....Go back at it tomorrow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF...Is it possible to static time it with the Pertronix in or do i have to pull it out and put the points back in........After installing this engine i have a renewed love for my Rover......Spent about an hour or more on the 2 rear bolts on the gearbox/overdrive at the cross member........Who designed that ...a midget contortionist

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif ME TOO!! What's the penalty for designing something like that? Almost no way to get at those bolts/nuts.
