The nasty old thing is leaking. Just started all of a sudden. Had it out on Thursday night and came back on Sunday and she was dripping anti freeze all over the driveway.
Yep, replace it. It will drip on your distributor too. I stalled one time and couldn't start it and the distributor was wet. I dried out the cap but the infra red sensor board in the dist for my electronic ignition got wet and I had to completely clean and dry it after getting a tow home.
Having heard not-so-good reports about the ones coming from Moss, when mine failed not long ago I got one from Engel Imports. It seems to be satisfactory.... https://www.engelimports.com/
I just became a dealer for them - they had all the Payen head gasket sets left in stock (Moss & VB are out)...now Engel is out & theAutoist has a monopoly...hehehehe
