I ended up with this top during one of my wayward trips to buy a midget. it is solid but needs redoing for appearance reasons. I live near Myrtle Beach SC.

I have no use for the top and will sell reasonably. Hopefully some one nearby will be interested.

it would best to private message me since I stay on the spridgets

Makes for an interesting-looking Midget!

Is that a Midget top or one for a tr4 or tr6? It looks very square at the area where the door window seals at the top/back area. Bob

It doesn't look like an MGB window profile to me, either. They're radiused in the corner at about 3" (much like the Midget).

TR-4~6, methinks.

Karma.

I found out the top isn't for an MGB due to it's mounts for one thing. Here's a couple photos with some measurements. Maybe some of you guys can figure out what it's for. Where the top goes over the windshield, there is a slight rise in the center and it's for a slightly curved windshield frame. The door glass would seem to move slightly to the rear as it's cranked up by 1 & 3/8 inches. The four mounts have holes for bolts. There are no latches, as on a "B" top.
Someone on another forum suggested it might be for a Datsun 1600.

Dynaplastics did make MG hard tops and here are three photos of some. Even so, their not the same as the top I have. The center one is probably one for a midget or Sprite. The one on the left has the same rear window style. PJ
