Hi Guys,
Its been a while! Spring is here and thinking about a fun project, and one of these is
building a classic tear drop trailer like those from the 1940's. Will most likely use my 1970
MGB-GT as a tow vehicle. Has anyone else done this? Are bolt on trailer hitches available
for MGB-GT's, ir is this a design & build yourself thing?
Steve

Steve, I pull a small fiberglass boat with my MGB. As far as I could find, there are no "off the shelf" hitches available for MGBs or GTs. I lucked out to get one - from a GT - that someone was going to scrap. Got it for the cost of shipping. It is a clever design that uses the bumper mounts in 4 locations. It's sort of I shaped. It would be very easy to reproduce. I can send you a rough drawing of it if you'd like.

Peter,
Would appreciate any info you can send!
