MGB MGB glove box lock breakdown or photos

I have a friend working on a MGB and it has a pushbutton style lock that doesn't return. Does it have a spring that returns it to a normal position. Are individual parts available or does anyone have one for sale? Or perhaps a parts breakdown of the lock?

Thanks

Don't believe I have a spare available, but on mine ('73), I think the pushbutton is returned when the latch makes contact with the u-shaped hook on the upper inside of the box. Hope that makes sense. I'll take a closer look later today, if no one else has responded.

Just checked the glove box lock on my '74 GT, and the button is spring-loaded - it returns when released. There's also a spring on the latch itself, but that doesn't affect the push-button. I wonder if the button is binding somehow? Might be worth a check. New locks are listed by Moss and the B-Hive, probably others, too.
