MGB MGB Front park/signal light question

I'm assembling a CB 74 roadster for a friend. It has yellow front signal/park lights. Do these lenses go on with the "long" side towards the center or towards the outside of the car? It has one each way, so I know one is wrong.
When they have yellow/white lenses, which way do they go?
I know this has come up from time to time, but I'm going to rearrange them tonight and won't have a chance to search the forum.
When I get them on correctly, I'll take a picture to help my memory.

Running lamp to the outside, turn signal to the inside. In otherwords, long side of the lens to the outside, short side toward the grill. Same applies to both color combinations.

mehheh... running lights to the outboard side.

The doc's picture is absolutely correct!
