MGB MGB floor pan question

Just received my left side floor pan yesterday for the 76 B. It is not threaded for the seat rail screws like the last one I bought. Do I use the same bolts and find a nut for them or do I need a longer bolt after the new floor is installed?
Thanks
Rick

Rick, the pans I got weren't drilled either. I used "nut-zert" type inserts for mounting seat rails. I changed to 1/4-20 tho, so not "official" but I don't think the seats will care. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Bolts are the same length, too.

When I use the afternmarket floors without the captive nuts, I weld captive nuts underneath them before installing the floors....I'd rather do a little welding than pay the price for somebody else to do it...

What I do (where possible) is cut the old captive nuts from the old floors, clean them up & weld them to the new floors...after grinding the welds, they look just like original

I'll take the demerits. As badly bent as this car was, I'd think those 1/4-20 bolts the least of the "botch-jobs" perpetrated on it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
