Found a luggage rack for my wife's MGB in very good shape, but missing one part. The feet are two piece items - the top stainless steel, and the bottom plastic. One of the plastic ones went AWOL. Does anyone have a spare one I can buy?

Mickey

Mickey,
I might have one of those I'll have to check. I think I had one still attached to the trunk after the auto transporter somehow lost my luggage rack. If I find it I'll just give it to you. I'll send you an email later.

if Greg doesn't have one go to your GM dealer and look up the luggage rack for a 79 Sunbird, same rack, one more bar

Chuck - That's very good to know! I've been looking for an overrider bar for my flat slat luggage rack. I'll have to check out my GM dealer.

Tony had told me earlier that they were similar. Are the mounting brackets (the plastic ones) the same?

Great - Thanks!

Yep, feet are the same...only thing that's different is the GM one has an extra flat bar & the screws that holds it to the trunk are different...actually, when i get home, I'll do a tech tip on how to convert a GM unit to fit an MGB

that may be a moot point as I hear that Moss is reintroducing that style of rack

It's been out for awhile and is virtually identical to the old one. Unfortunately they don't have parts listed for the rack but since it's available I'd think they'd find a market for the individual parts!
