MGB MGB exhaust heat shield

I thought I'd asked this question but couldn't find it in my previous posts (disclaimer)
Has anyone bought (or devised on of their own) one of the heat shields Moss advertises for the B?

I appreciate the charm of melting my sneakers while sitting at the drawbridge, but thought I might buy one of these anyways.

Why not wait and see if it's that bad. I never had an issue with heat on the earlier cars.

it is that bad. I've got Second Skin heat shield and still can't rest my foot at the gas pedal without having to lift it up from time to time. I've got a Peco exhaust system so it's not anything exotic, but it needs some more heat shielding without question. I can't drive with sandals as it's too hot. Not hot enough to burn my brown socks mind you, but still hot.
