a Morris Marina maybe? Just a W.A.G. They had the same engine as the MGB in their later years IIRC. Maybe they shared other components in other years? However, I don't think they're very common around the US...
Just courious but, Why would you want to put a part from another car in it? Save yourself a bunch of grief and look for an original part replacement. The cost would probably be about the same even "if" you could find something else that would fit. Contact www.theautoist.com Tony might even have one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif PJ
Paul, perhaps he is hunting the knackers yards for a replacement, and wants to know what else used the same diff to widen his search possibilities?
And, the shipping from Alabama to Western Australia may be a bit steep! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good grief Sunter! I didn't even look where you were from. Sorry about that! Yes the shipping cost would be a little high. Hope you find what your looking for local. Have one on me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif PJ
Answer to question depends on the country...Australia got cars we didn't in the US....US cars that might interchange with MG's probably aren't in Australia.
Guys, there were at least 3 different axle widths and 3 different spider gear spline patterns, so you need to be careful about swaps. All of the B series engined cars except the Riley 1.5 used the B series axle in various ratios from 3.9 to 5.12, but only the MGB used the 3.9, so it depends on what you are after.
