MGB MGB Cable Tach Drive?

What was the last year the cable tach drive was used off of the distributor? 1966 or 1967? OR ??? PJ

With the introduction of the 5-main MGB engine in late 1964. 3-main all had them.

Tach drive was off the back of the cam and not the distributor. Bob

Was a left over design from the MGA.

I should clarify... only 3-mains had them. The 5-main came out in late '64 for the '65 model and did away with the tach drive.
