MGB-GT MGB and MGB GT

[ QUOTE ]
My name is Carl, and I'm bi-makual and tri-curious.
Seriously flirted with a TR250 only the other day. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Carl, Tri-makual is fun and all, but Quad is where the fun begins. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Between my father and I (meaning I do all the work /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif) there is a 69 TR6, 66 Alpine, 74 2500M, and 74 BGT. Now which one's the odd one out who put the clutch slave on the passenger side? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

You can add me to the list of guys who likes sportscars as a category, I love Alfa Romeos as well as British cars, unfortunatley not rich enough to own all the cars I like, Morgan, Sunbeam, Healey, Jag.....etc.

How's this for different?

Car I'm working on is a 74.5 MGB-GT (almost ready for the road).

Next car in line is a 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible, 383 cu.in., 4 speed.

I can almost fit the GT in the trunk of the Satellite. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Mike,

Funny you should mention the '66 Plymouth Satellite... ...starting the "Way Back Machine"... ...going back, going, going... ...and finally stopping approximately 1974... ...open the Way Back Machine, climb out and there I am, young and carefree and...

...with two Bugeye Sprites (one with a 327 Chevy connected to a PowerGlide) and, you guessed it, a 1966 Plymouth Satellite! Mine also had the 383 and 4 speed however mine was a two door coupe.

Sure wish I could have those cars again! Thanks for bringing back the memory! And best wishes with your endeavors!

Tim

A good friend built a 65 Satellite nostalgia drag car that is a clone of the factory Super Stock cars, with the aluminum front sheet metal, little van seats and snap-strap window "winders". It runs a 426 Hemi with 2 4 barrels on a cross-ram manifold and a beefed up torqueflite. Boy, does it run!
