Ron, If I were you and wanted to go the V8 route, I'd go to a MGB V8 show and ask some of the fellows just what the procedure would be. But, I'd bet that Tony would be a big help in steering you in the right direction. One thing I seem to recollect is, the tunnels on the earlier models are not wide enough without some modifications to receive the bell housing. That alone could be a task in itself. I'm not sure of the year when they widened them. I think your car, a 66, is a narrow tunnel. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. PJ
