Just saw on MG Trader an MGA for sale. No big deal right, But, no picture, no color, and no milage, FOR, are you ready, how about $75,000.00. Might be a typo. Ha, I hope it is, because this guy needs a straight jacket if it isn't. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifPJ

Paul,

that guy next to me at the show with the BRG 67 B wanted $12,500 for his. It was all there but needed to be restored. dont think that he sold it at the show. I heard a few people looking at it and saying that the price was not to bad, guess they are going by the price of a modern convertable.

If his is worth 12,500 then put a price tag of 25,000 or 30,000 on yours.

its not what you want for it, its what you get offered for it that counts.

Yup! If that "A" on ebay is as nice inside and under the hood as the outside, then I would say the price is not out of line. PJ

Why it looks like Miss Agathas sister. Nice one.

Prices of MGA's have been on the rise recently, although not $75000 worth, but a definate increase. Alot of the younger people how are new to the hobby don't know much about MGA's but seem to love the styling of them(can you blame them?) hence an increase in demand. I recently sold an MGB and a TR6; when I was showing those cars my wifes MGA was always in the driveway and I'd always get asked if it was for sale, and even had a few offers made on it.

Even though I am partial to roadsters, I really like the looks of the "A" coupe. It would make a great cold weather car. COLD WEATHER! Did I say cold weather? Shame on me. What am I thinking. Brrrrr. 40 degrees makes me shiver. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gifPJ
