MGA MGA - stock distributor?

Hi people,
I've a Lucas DM 2 distributor on my '60 MGA 1600. Anyone know whether or not that's the model distributor that came with the car back then? If so, did all MGAs come w/ this particular model distributor? If not, which one came with mine back then? Thanks..
Also, now & then, I'll have trouble locating a part; case in point, the knurled knob aduster on the end of the vacuum advance for the distributor.
Usually I can find what I need at Moss, Victoria British, Scarborough Faire, or Clarke Spares. Anyone suggest other sources, for hard-to-find parts, that they've had luck with? Thanks again.

I had a chart that said what all Lucas distributers were for!! It gave model # and application!! I'll see if I can find it!!

Rick, the DM2 was original to MGA's, as well as several other cars of that era. I don't know if other types were also used. Regarding small parts, I suspect that most shops handling British cars would have such things available used. Auto flea markets are also good sources. You might need to buy an entire distributor to get them but "donor" (trashed) units can sometimes be gotten cheap.

Thanks for the input. Gary: in case you need it, the numbers on the distributor side body are 40510D BN238 659.
