Hi guys;
Haven't been here much lately. found an interesting ad on Kijiji London On.
Mga parts, including a twin cam engine.
Ad number 399673783.
Supposed to be close to my home, if you want more info.
I'll be glad to help as much as I can.

Dave

No use for the parts but great to hear from you!

Hi JP

Good to see you. Life gets in the way sometimes and I've had my share of life lately.

The parts, including two cars and about three motors, are for sale for $1900.00. They are in St. Thomas. I think it might be a good buy for the right person.

And HELLO to the rest of ya, (don't want anyone feelin' left out)

Dave

Hmmmm, How far is ST. Thomas from here????? Shipping, I wonder? PJ :confuse:

Paul, the distance to Oklahoma City from my home is about 1000 miles. I am about 25 miles from St. Thomas.
Can deliver for a nominal fee. (Gas money and food)

Dave

Dave, PM or email me some photos of the complete inventory.

Hi Ya Doc! How are you doin'. Nice to hear from my old almost Canadian friend

Your almost American friend Dave

Muddlin' thru, here. Stuff seems to fly at ya faster an' faster th' longer ya live.

It's gettin' annoying. :jester:

Annoying is a nice word.
It describes what I feel, without getting me banned for life.
At least Annie is back working, so we can again afford to eat.
I complain alot, but at least I'm still on the right side of the grass.

Glad of it!

Herself had her job of 16 years eliminated six months ago, she's still hunting. No steak dinners here lately.

Alfa tranny packed it in a few weeks back, we're down to one running car now. Likely I'll put the MG back on the duty roster over the weekend.

WHadda BunCha BuLLsqueeze!! :jester:

Sorry, no Alfa trannys here.
Annie had her job for 27 years, then got packaged out. She was heartbroken for awhile but managed to get back to work. It was tough to watch her go through this. She's my best friend.
Hi Mickey, after all this time, Dave is here.
How are things in Clarksville?
Is the MGB GT done yet?

Good to see you back around, Dave. Sorry to hear about the, um, annoyances (serious understatement here). Very tough to see the loved ones go through these things -- I've been there too, on both ends. We're pulling for you.

My MGB is running great, and has really turned out to be a super solid, nice car. Couldn't be happier.

:lol: As evidenced by those orange cones surrounding it in your avatar! :jester: :thumbsup:

Things are poppin' here, as usual. And the GT is all but done; just a few more issues to sort, and then it's off to the paint shop for a respray. Here's a link to an earlier thread that includes a write-up, and links to pictures and a YouTube post showing initial startup.

https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcforum/u...sion#Post845293

I've made more progress since the write-up, but the revised copy is on the other computer's files.

It's been a challenge, but well worth it!

Hi Drew;

Was looking through my pics last night and saw the ones I sent of your car. I am so glad it has worked out for you. It was a very nice "B". May be headed to Utah next summer. If so, count on a meeting of the great international minds. (Tongue in cheek of course)

Mickey;

Read the whole article, and perused (BIG WORD EH!) photos. You must be proud of yourself, that is one gorgeous "GT". I am sure Tony is smiling! When you get a chance, I would love to see more.

Thanks for your concern fellas.
Annie and I have each other and don't know how to quit.

Dave :driving:

You're welcome here any time, Dave.

That looks like a Fiat 124 motor, not an Alfa. certainly not an MGA Twin Cam notor.
