To my way of thinking, the coupe is the most stylish of th MGAs with interesting details - look at the outside door handles some time.

I'm a big guy and fit in them if snugly.

This is my Mk 2 coupe

And for the record, the Twin Cam engine (this one from my race car) is without doubt the best looking MG engine.

OP, are you still considering that MGA - or any MGA for that matter?

Rust is the biggest enemy. You need underside photos / inspection of the sills. If you can't see the underside sill area, walk away.

Google NAMGAR and then look at their classifieds.

If you want to talk/see MGA, a few of us in the VSCCA should be racing at Lime Rock the first weekend in May - Friday and Saturday. Don't remember the dates, 4th and 5th? 5th & 6th? You should just be able to sign a waiver and walk in without an admission charge. I'll be running the #645 roadster. Jim Juhas will be running the #311 coupe. There should be two or three others.
 
Hey - thanks very much. Still haven't got replies from my NAMGAR requests, but will be at Lime Rock unless I'm working that weekend. (Old Sturbridge Village)

I've emailed a few of the NAMGAR classified sellers, and hope to hear back. Actually prefer to find a roadworthy MGA coupe here in New England, but I'm open to all.
