After a few problems, the engine I bought for my A coupe out of Ohio will be delivered to the Rodeway terminal in Dayton and start the trek to my shop in New Mexico. Latest glitch was e-mailing the bill of ladings, his computer didn't recognize the sender(me) and his spam filter kept destroying them. Finally sent them to his wife's e-mail..her spam filter blocked..but didn't destroy them She went in and found them and we're all set. Getting closer to running out of parts.

How's the knees holding up Jack?

I have used PainFree, and a bunch of other glucosamine-chrondoitin supplements for a number of years and they helped.

Then a friend recommended Osteo-BiFlex and collagen c pills.

Since I've been taking two collagen c about a half an hour before breakfast and then two osteo bi-flex with breakfast it takes a considerable amount of movement/distortion before I am even aware that I have had a knee problem.

Just passing along a little info, that I hope helps.

Aloha

I've tried everything Ron...but we're talking bone on bone and the pain has about reached what I can tolerate. My wife wants me to get serious about shutting down and selling most of the vehicles. We're thinking auction...but most folks around here ask you to spell the name of the car when you ask for MG parts:smile: Very few sports cars...mostly trucks and suvs...I may contact an old freind back in upstate NY and ask him to put out a few feelers about my stuff.

Up in Washington State, the University there has quite an orthopedic school. They have built quite a reputation on knee replacements, etc.

Had a dancer, when I was into Scottish Country Dancing, come over from Long Beach for our annual Dance Week who was active out on the floor, big guy 6'4" a good 250 lbs, who had his left knee which was bone on bone worked on, they put in a cushion to replace the cartilage.

Might do some exploring on that avenue. Pain is no fun!

If you can't find anything on them, let me know, I'll dig up what I can, I know I've got a blurb about them on my other computer which I can research for you.

Wish I had the time space and money for a C GT. Oh and a way to get it here

YAHOOO..the guy I bought it from called me yesterday with a shipping tracking number on Rodeway Express!! Turn key engine, all the accessories..carbs, gen..everything. Next thing from him will be a stainless steel exhaust he has. He sold four fenders but mine are all good. He'll be gone till this week-end but I'll get a list of goodies he has to sell. And on my trashed out knee...we just got a new bone chopper in town, claims he can replace a knee and have you up and running in record time. Highly thoght of by the local Docs...so maybe I can just put my cars on hold for a month r so and see how this goes...

Had a knee replaced a few years ago. Not fun but the results are worth it.
