I got this MGA 60 had no engine or trany , so I decided to give it a British engine and this 91 XJS V12 is the donor of trany, front suspenssion, but it must look original in the outside .any sugestions// /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Holy crap! Those things are huge. That's like three MGA engines. I can't imagine it would fit with out major hacking.

I've seen MGBs with Jag V12s in them but it's a butcher job and the car doesn't handle well. Not to mention impossible to keep cool! The only way to fit it into an MGA would be to cut out the inner fenders, and even then I'm not sure it would fit through the hood opening. My suggestion is to find another engine or another car to put that engine into.

Now that would be a trick! There's just not enough to an
MGA to fit in a Jag V-12. Well, maybe if its a mid-engine
car. I've got one of these monster V-12's that will
someday go into a hotrod of some sort. The block alone
is about 3 feet long.
