MG wire wheel help

66 MGB painted wire wheels. On one wheel in particular, many spokes are loose and two are broken. I've been soaking them down with Parts Breaker for a couple of weeks, I'm hoping to tighten them up (to save the wheel) they haven't turned in a long long time. At least 20 years. Is there any hope of getting these spokes to turn so I can tighten them up? Don't really have the $ to buy a new wheel, but first things first. Any tips on getting these babies to turn?? thanks! Dave

I hate to say it, but the original spokes are probably shot. If you aren't in a position to get new wheels (I know I need a set), you can get the individual spokes from one of the catalogs.

Might even find someone here who might have a good used wheel for cheap.
