PRESENTLY INSTALLING NEW TOP ON TD AND FIRST FIT SEEMS GOOD WITH THE RECOMMENDED 20.5" DISTANCE ABOVE DOOR TO TOP FRAME. A QUICK CHECK WITH SIDE CURTAINS (ORIGINAL WITH DUCK CANVAS, BUT NOT FROM THIS CAR) SHOWED TOP WAS ABOUT 1" TOO HIGH. POSSIBLY THESE FRAMES ARE FROM A TF. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME THE DIMENSIONS OF A 2 BOW TD TOP, OR EVEN TF DIM?

Bobo - First, loose the upper case, it makes your posting hard to read. End of sermon.

The side curtains from another car may not have been aligned properly. Your best bet would be to install your own side curtain frames and then test fit the curtains that you have. there is considerable room for positioning the curtains on the frame. If you can position the curtains so that they will just brush under the outer valance as they close under the top (they should actually brush the fabric) and close tightly behind the square rib that the windshield attaches to and lay snuggly against the windshield frame, you will have a fit that keeps the rain and most of the wind out. I have pictures of the fit on our TD that shows what I am talking about if you will e-mail me at ddubois@sinclair.net
cheers,
